Avaaz is nominated for another award
We're really excited that Avaaz has been nominated for another award, this time in the UK. The New Statesman - a political magazine - runs an awards ceremony every year for people using new media to campaign for social change and boost democracy. Avaaz is nominated for an award in the Advocacy catagory, which is for an organisation that influences politicians and public opinion through the technology - exactly what Avaaz members do best.
