ACTA -- We're winning!

To all EU Heads of State & Governments:

As concerned citizens, we call on you to stand for a free and open Internet and immediately halt all signing and ratification of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). We urge you to show true leadership and work with the European Parliament to stand up for our rights and stand against private corporate interests.

ACTA -- We're winning!
Something incredible is happening -- a wave of protest is sweeping through Europe and governments are starting to suspend the ratification of the dangerous ACTA treaty -- an international agreement that threatens our Internet freedom and right to free expression.

We need a majority of euro-parliamentarians to vote NO to ACTA later this year to kill this treaty for good -- but the more governments fail to ratify the treaty now, the higher our chances of building an incontestable majority against it later. Last week, our massive 2.2 million strong petition caused shockwaves in Brussels and, after our delivery to the cabinet of the EU Parliament's President, he publicly criticized the agreement. Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and other countries are putting the agreement on ice and together we can ensure the domino effect doesn’t stop here.

As key EU Parliament committees get ready to debate whether to support or reject ACTA, they are closely watching what is happening in their capitals. Click below to sign the petition urging all EU heads of government to immediately stop the ratification process and then forward this to everybody -- it will be delivered to offices in key European cities when we reach 1 million signatures:
