The eight most economically powerful countries in the world - the "G8" - are responsible for over half of the gasses that cause global warming. Yet they still haven't made meaningful commitments to prevent a climate catastrophe. On March 19th, Avaaz presented 100,000 signatures to the G8 environment ministers - and they made climate change the #1 issue for the summit of their leaders this June. The momentum is on our side. Now, we need to grow the petition massively to ensure that these countries produce real action at the June summit. Add your voice to the call for change!
