After you've called your Senator:

If you haven't yet made your call:

• Ask your representative to listen to the people, not the lobbyists -- say that most Americans support President Obama’s leadership in stopping illegal settlements and brokering Mideast peace, and encourage your representative to support the President’s tough line wholeheartedly .
  
  
• Say that US peace-making is being sabotaged and it’s clear that more illegal Israeli settlement-building on occupied Palestinian lands will only lead to more hostility. President Obama is right to say that these settlements must stop -- they are taking over most of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, making peace and Palestinian statehood impossible and endangering us all.
  
  
• Ask your Senator to oppose efforts being made by the Israeli Prime Minister and his lobbyists to weaken US leadership for peace, and to refuse to sign any letters which question or undermine the President’s tough approach on this vital issue .
