Israel + Iran = love
To Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Ahmadinejad:
As concerned citizens of Israel and Iran, we declare our love for one another and reject the war-mongering, violent escalation and threats emanating from our political leaders. We are joining together in a message of peace and humanity for both our nations. Together, we call on you to find a peaceful way forward and break down the barriers separating our peoples.

Our fear is the same – and our love for one another can be the same. A few days ago, Israelis started the “I love Iran” Facebook page and wrote, “We love you. We mean you no harm. On the contrary, we want to meet, have some coffee and talk about sports." And Iranians have been writing back, along with people from around the world.
The Israeli security cabinet likely supports a preemptive strike on Iran, and the irresponsible war-talk is reaching a fever pitch. Let’s show Netanyahu and Ahmadinejad that real leadership comes from the people, and drown out the drumbeats of war with the outcry of our common humanity. Sign the “declaration of love” now and you'll be directed to a page where you can upload your own photo and see everyone else's. We’ll deliver the declaration on a huge screen in Tel Aviv, billboards in front of Bibi's house and over Persian media once we reach 30,000 signatures!
