Bhopal survivors have waited almost three decades for justice, detoxification of the site and full compensation. It’s time to end their struggle. Please ensure the Government’s submissions to the Supreme Court are as strong as possible and include all the victims identified by the survivor groups based on research from the Indian Council of Medical Research.

The Bhopal chemical leak may be the worst corporate scandal in history -- killing 20,000 people, poisoning 500,000 and causing untold disease and death in the aftermath. After decades of corporate impunity, survivors finally have a real chance to get justice, but they need our help.

Public outcry recently forced the Indian government to reopen the Bhopal fight for fair compensation from Dow Chemical, but now Finance Minister Chidambaram is erasing almost 80% of the victims from the claim, drastically reducing the potential damages paid by Dow.

Public pressure forced the Minister to support the victims in the first place. Now we can make sure that they get real justice, and send a signal to corporations everywhere that the era of impunity is over. Join the call -- when we reach 500,000 signers we will display hard-hitting billboards outside of the two posh clubs the Minister frequents in Delhi.
