The STF ruled yesterday: Ficha Limpa will only be valid for 2012 elections.

Luiz Fux, the 11th SFT Minster who broke the deadlock on the STF’s ruling, contradicted all expectations by casting the final vote against Ficha Limpa. His decision mean that notorious corrupt politicians like Jader Barbalho and Cássio Cunha Lima will now take office. It is a slap in the face of Brazilian civil society who fought hard to approve Ficha Limpa and start cleaning up our country from corruption.
