End Murdoch's Criminal Empire -- Make a phone call

To the UN Security Council member countries:

We call on you to take decisive action to stop the brutal ethnic cleansing ongoing in Sudan, including making all efforts to arrest President al-Bashir and others indicted by the International Criminal Court, imposing robust sanctions on those responsible for mass killings, and fulfilling your responsibility to protect the people of Sudan. For too long the world has watched al-Bashir commit grave crimes against humanity, and offered only words of condemnation. It is time for action.

End Murdoch's Criminal Empire -- Make a phone call
Let's make sure the MPs vote on Wednesday reflects our massive public outrage against the Murdoch empire's criminal practices. Call your MP now and tell them to stop the BSkyB deal, and refer it to the Competition Commission.

Call the House of Commons switchboard: 020 7219 3000 and ask for your MP by name, or - if you don't know it - say where you live and ask to be put through to your MP.

Suggested points to make to your MP:
  • Stop the BSkyB deal now -- the Murdoch empires hacking and their cover up show he is not fit to own more of our media
  • Jeremy Hunt's announcement on Monday was a step forward, but not enough. He must issue a new Intervention Notice on the BSkyB deal to ensure regulators fully examine the Murdochs' fitness to own our media, based on the public inquiry findings.
If you don't get through, it probably means we're jamming their lines -- a good sign! KEEP CALLING! Remember, most government offices work from 9am - 5pm, if you miss office hours please try again tomorrow.

When the call is over post a comment on the right and tell us all how your MP responded.
