Bristol City Council

Dear Bristol City Council

Let's 'Clean Up' and 'Green Up' this beautiful historical city,

We need to put a stop to:- large-scale fly-tipping on public and private land; pollution of ponds, canals, rivers and other waterways with wide-ranging refuse; people dumping refuse on roadway and railway verges and embankments, in woodland areas and parks

Let's also revitalise and freshen-up our roads, waterway and railway embankments, residential and business areas, shopping centres, parks and estates with the large-scale planting of trees.

Bristol City Council needs to co-ordinate ''Citywide Weekend Clean-Ups" & "Citywide Tree Planting" - to get Businesses, Community Organisations, Schools, Colleges, the General Public and the Media involved and working together.

Let's create a Bristol renowned regionally, nationally and internationally for its conscientious and proactive citizens - not only as an outstandingly 'clean-green' city to both live and work in, but also a great place for people to visit.

Regards

Citizens of Bristol
