Greek Court of Justice
Six years ago, at 17/12/2006, undercover policemen in civilian clothing "arrested" a young man from Cyprus, who had just come to Thessaloniki to study. He was having a walk in the wrong place, so they assumed that he was involved in the riots that had taken place earlier. Confused, the young man, without realising that those people where the police, tried to escape and shouted for help to the riot policemen that were close to them. That's when they started to beat him up, with the excuse that he was trying to resist arrest. The young man tried to show them his identity, but that didnt help. They handcuffed him, and continued to beat him for twenty minutes or so, while he was half unconscious. After that, they took him to a hospital, and even lied about where he was. The man couldnt even let his family know where he was. Needless to say, today this young man has serious brain and mental damage, and has developed agoraphobia.

Just like that, a man's life was ruined, because some policemen decided to release their anger at someone.

History repeats itself once again in Greece, as most of those policemen are about to be proved innocent.
