Governments of UN member states

Dear people in the whole World, who you care about lives, freedom and democracy,

let's demand from our governments the following measures!

1. To name the events and their initiators with their right names:

- Russia is making aggression and annexation towards Ukraine:

- Ukraine is defending its territory and constitutional order against the intruder – against Russia.

- those people who Russia claims to be separatists, are really terrorists wheeled and armed by Russia.

2. To demand (not to beg!) from Russia:

- immediate removal of Russian troops from Ukraine’s territory;

- stopping of supplying terrorists with weaponry, technique and men;

- recalling terrorists from Ukraine, who are Russian citizens;

- honouring the territorial integrity and borderline of Ukraine.

3. To support Ukraine with real military power in terms of men, armoury and technique, if Russia does not fulfil the above-mentioned demands.

EU and NATO have enough power to guarantee these demands.

Background

Again Russia has thrown the international law and several contracts to the dumpster. Russia supports international terrorism and has entered to the neighbouring country Ukraine with military forces. Russia also fires from its territory rockets and missiles to Ukraine.

In these circumstances Ukrainians have nothing else to do but to defend their country with weapons against the terrorists and against the aggressor, Russia. Peace negotiations on the terms dictated by Russia - recognition of Russian terrorists as the representatives of Ukrainians – are not possible. Any respectful country wouldn’t allow this kind of behaviour.

Unfortunately leaders of many European countries are putting on a face, saying that: this is just an interior conflict of Ukraine; that they are dealing with locals (so called separatists); that the weaponry, including heavy weaponry, comes from a local store and not from Russia; that Russia is not a party in this conflict, although UN and OSCE reports and other evidence point to the participation of Russia.

All of this stems not from the ignorance of EU countries, but from the wish to maintain good or at least normal economic affairs with the aggressor. On behalf of that a grim “reality show” is performed, in which thousands of people die. It is talked about peace at any price, with the price of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine in the first approximation. However, this price is not the final.

It cannot be demanded that all communication with the aggressor is suspended, but it cannot continue also from the position as it is done today. It was announced to the whole World prior to the Minsk meeting (25. August 2014), that

- NATO bases would not be situated along Russian borders;

- NATO missile shield is not pointed towards Russia;

- NATO missile shield will be developed together with Russia;

- No military help will be given to Ukraine;

- EU is dependent of the economic relations with Russia.

This was the preparation from the EU side for the Ukraine and Russia Presidential meeting in Minsk.
