We have been enraged. We have been angered. And we are feeling helpless. It’s our chance to stand up and be counted. It’s our chance to show that Delhi cares. That India cares.

We want to show the victim that we are with her. That we will continue to stand with her. That she has to fight this. Let’s make her fight, out fight. We want to send a message to our political class that we will not tolerate hate crimes against women. That our actions can lead to stronger laws.

We demand that the harshest ever punishment should be given to the perpetrators of the henious crime. We demand capital punhsiment and we want the government to set a precedent that such crimes will be dealt with severity. We want the government to take a stand and c and permanent fast-track courts for rape and sexual harassment cases.

We request you to please sign this petition and forward it to as many people as possible. Once we have a significant number of signatures, we will send this petiton to the Prime Minister and Home Minister of India and Chief Minister of Delhi.
