Implement Shared Parenting as Standard and Abolish the Adversarial Family Law in Canada

It will bring balance to Family courts and will encourage parent to focus on the best interest of the children and not a Winner/loser scenario which is what the current structure is designed to encourage. Whose ingrained gender biases and jurisdictional filibuster are not only psychologically and financially destructive to both children and parents but ends with only the children as losers and often subject to conditions of parental alienation.

I have been fighting within this system for over two years, experiencing Parental Abduction of my two children, Adversarial Courts, Parental Alienation, Inequality, Abuse of Authority by Judges, bullying by Lawyers plus innumerable doors closing in my face always with the same tag line attached "I'm sorry I can't help, that is not my jurisdiction!"

When will we be good enough? Fathers are parents too!

The U.K. saw their way clear to this fundamental truth, by implementing Shared Parenting as the template to heal the devastating circumstances for all parties, and save the country incalculable long term costs, isn't it time we do too! For the sake of our children.
