Justice for Sita Rai & Nepali women!

As conscience filled citizens we have been especially horrified by the
looting and rape of “Sita Rai” by representatives of the government, on-duty civil servants of the Immigration Department at the Tribhuvan International Airport and a police officer who raped her shortly after and threatened to kill if she told anyone. Sita Rai is now pregnant because of this and she simply demands "justice".
The frequency of such cases, Saraswoti Subedi, Chori Maya Maharajan, Shiwa Hasmi and Bindu Thakur to name just a few, are disturbing. Every day the cases of gang rape, child rape, looting, burning of Nepali women & other citizens grow. The inevitably shoddy investigation that always follow the incidents force us ask the prime minister whether his government is capable of delivering justice to its citizens, especially the poor and marginalized? Will you as a global citizen demand justice from leaders of Nepal ?
