Lawrence Gonzi, Prime Minister of Malta, Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport & Communications, Ministry for Resources & Rural Affairs, Transport Malta, Malta Environment & Planning Authority (MEPA), Mdina Mayor & Local Council

It is being proposed to change the currently free parking in the town of Mdina into privately leased parking space. This will mean charging residents, non-residents and tourists alike to park in the historical town of Mdina. No other town in Malta has done such a thing, this will have a negative effect on tourism in Malta.
