Everyone with a sense for justice
All over the world, thousands of children have been or are being abused by catholic priests. Reports after official investigations in the US, Ireland and the Netherlands, even by the catholic church itself, have shown that thousands of children have been abused in catholic institutions since 1945.

The Dutch report states that church leaders have always known about the abuse but, like in other countries, have never taken any action against the perpetrators other than to move them to other parishes where they have continued to abuse. Now being held responsible all they have done is make excuses, but victims are not being helped and therefore dealing on their own with the effects of the childhood abuse e.g. mental and/or physical problems, suicide, drugs or alcohol, emotional problems in their relations, etc. etc. They receive a handful of money, but no one asks them what they really need...

At the same time politicians look the other way.
Sexual abuse by catholic clergy is not a popular subject which wins them votes. No official statement is being made. No ambassador is being called back. No diplomatic action is being taken (rare exception: the statement in the Irish parliament by PM Enda Kenny, but nothing has been heard since).

Many victims still can not talk about the abuse without being discriminated in their families, communities, churches. This is especially true in countries where the catholic church still has a strong influence in public life like in South America, Africa and South East Asia, but also in European countries like Italy, Poland and Lithuania. Thus constituting a continous repetition of the abuse!

The result is that the victims are still being ignored. By the catholic church, by the worldly leaders and, because of the statute of limitation, criminal courts.
They are not guilty of any crime, they were supposed to be only children when they were violently forced to have sex with catholic priests or nuns. All they ask for is that justice be done and that the wrong be put right.

Abuse has happened all over the world and the procedures by the catholic church are everywhere exactly the same: deny, ignore, lie, and when confronted with proof: pay some money to silence the witnesses.

The only way to stop the worldwide abuse of children by catholic clergy is full disclosure of all the facts!

Stop the perpetrators and their protectors.

Help the healing of thousands and thousands of victims. Give them the justice they deserve. Force the church to make amends for wrong done to them as a child.
