We are parents who believe we have the right to educate and bring up our children the best way we believe and know how, without being forced to be instituted, programmed and converted to group consumers with no individuality.

We trust our children and ourselves to provide the most inspiring, self-guided learning grounds for our children, through experience, within life and not excluding real challenges.

We do not trust the old society which has created specialists cut off from peripheral vision, young graduates with no job satisfaction, unhappy adults with no higher purpose in life except consumption, seeking temporary satisfaction.
Bringing a child into the world is something we take very seriously and we are committed to honoring our choice, with our decisions and actions.

We understand that the term "unschooling" can raise many questions as it has been largely misunderstood and/or misused. Remaining with our limiting beliefs and opinions, as well as trying to impose them on others, is the old way. The new, creative way is to dare our own expression while remaining open to expand our minds, through honest communication with others; sharing our experiences and being open to new ideas, all of which have our children and the future in our highest interest.

"Self Sythesis": Unschooling

http://selfsynthesis.blogspot.gr/

Think of a child who is growing up without (or the least) conditioning – schooling. A child who is free to express and experience herself, who does not discriminate according to color, race, age or gender, who makes her whole environment a learning ground, who is happy, psychologically stable, recognizes her own and others uniqueness equally, and wakes up each day to a whole new experience. She is creative, imaginative, resourceful and does not know or understand the meaning of the phrase “I am bored”. Xristiana Sophia
