Minister of Health and Education: Enforce a minimum age limit on energy drinks (like cigs and alcohol)

Younger children are seeking legal highs from corner shops with their pocket money. The amount of caffine in one can of a typical energy drink is enough to seriously harm a young child, and have even been known to cause death, but the cans are readily available for children to buy. There is no physical or mental benefit for a child to drink. Some drinks contain 14 times more caffine than a can of coke, which is equivalent to 7 cups of coffee. The colourful cans and the fonts used on the cans are aimed at the younger market, but these are being bought by children under the age of 14, because of peer pressure and to appear "cool". There should be some agre restriction (in my opinion 16) on these cans in the same way that cigarettes and alcohol are age restricted. It should also be illegal for shops to sell these to younger children.
