Mr. President Yudhoyono: Give muslim policewomen's rights to wear hijab

This is a really sad story, Indonesia as a state with the largest muslim population in the world prohibit the citizen who wants “Hijab”. Hijab is an islamic veil. Muslim making up around 85 percent of 240 million population in Indonesia. These prohibitions are happening in some specific circles in Indonesia. One of the circles is in the Indonesian National Police. Muslim policewomen are prohibited to wear hijab. Wearing hijab is a muslim basic rights.

In many other countries, where muslims are a minority, like in UK, Sweden, Canada, New York City, Australia, on the contrary muslim policewomen are allowed to wear a hijab.

Mr. President Yudhoyono, Mrs. Ani Yudhoyono, Mrs. President Megawati Soekarnoputri, Mrs. Puan Maharani, Mr. Jokowi and Mrs. Hj. Ariani Jokowi, and other Indonesian public figures, where has your empathy gone ? Muslim policewomen are prohibited to wear hijab in Indonesia, the home to the largest Muslim population in the world. Isn't it confusing ? Indonesia should be a model so muslim more be valued in the whole world, and then world peace will come.
