started this petition to
Christy Clark, Premier of British Columbia
If American Energy Company Kinder Morgan gets their way, Burrard Inlet could see as many as 300 huge oil tankers travelling through the Inlet and along the pristine British Columbian coastline each year. But a groundswell of public opposition can stop Prime Minister Harper and Premier Christy Clark from opening up these waters to inevitable environmental and economic disaster.

A moratorium on shipping supposedly protects British Columbia's coast from supertanker shipping, and there is no reason why it shouldn't be a firm, legal moratorium for Burrard Inlet and the southern coast!

We must act now to protect a beautiful and vulnerable ecosystem from a very real threat of environmental and economic catastrophe!

Please sign this petition and share it with everyone you know!
