Prime Minister of Bangladesh: Take Urgent Action on abduction of Mr. Abu Bakar Siddique

Husband of worldwide renowned environmental activist Advocate Syeda Rizwana Hasan and a top executive of Garments sector in Bangladesh Mr. Abu Bakar Siddique was abducted on 16th April at around 2:45 from Fatulla near Dhaka city.

There are enough causes to suspect giant polluters and environmental culprits of Bangladesh especially real estate and ship breaking companies might be linked with this abduction because Rizwana and her organization BELA filed several cases and organized campaigns against them as part of her professional duties.

It is no more a personal matter because Rizwana and her organization BELA have a leading environmental role in Bangladesh and it is an attack on the family members of environmental activists. So, we want Mr. Abu Bakar Siddique back safe and unhurt immediately.
