Putting a STOP to Fluoride in Ottawa, ON tap water!

Fluoride, also called hydrofluorosilicic acid has been put in Ottawa tap water since November 15, 1965. It is the only chemical added to our tap water, not to treat the water, but to treat human health (our teeth), and current proven research shows that it is actually a
detriment
to human health. If you research this acid you will gain a better understanding.
When fluoride was first introduced into tap water, its effects were not thoroughly studied or known, but over the many years, advanced scientific research has proven time and time again that ingesting fluoride can cause many health problems, including but not limited to the following:
• dental fluorosis
• bone fluorosis
• cancer
• lowered IQ
• thyroid problems
• pineal gland calcification
• liver damage
• DNA damage
• protein destruction
• Alzheimer's and many other ailments
WATER is the most important necessity for life
Why does our municipal government continue to add this unnecessary chemical to our drinking water at the expense of tax payer dollars?
Please consider signing this e-Petition for cessation of water fluoridation in Ottawa and pass it onto your network of friends and family to sign as well - (looking for 500 signatures)
Many other Canadian cities have won the battle for fluoride-free tap water – let’s add Ottawa to that list!
