Blairo Maggi, ruralista, fazendeiro e conhecido por ser o rei da soja no Brasil, foi nomeado e eleito presidente da Comissão de Meio-Ambiente em 27 de fevereiro. Da mesma forma que Marco Feliciano nao pode representar os direitos humanos e as minorias por ser homofobico e racista, Blairo Maggi nao pode representar ou sequer proteger o meio ambiente por motivos óbvios.
