The Europe's last protected wilderness areas in Northern and Eastern Finland and Lapland are threatened by the greed of the international mining-business. This aggressive mining rush is also quickly expanding in all over the Northern Scandinavia.
Beautiful and rare natural areas are threatened to be polluted with uranium and other toxic metals, minerals and chemicals. Whole precious ecological systems are threatened, when both the ground waters and surface waters are poisoned in these sensitive forest and lake-areas.
