Proyecto Pastos Chicos is an ongoing project benefiting to North Argentine Inca's endangered descendants. Its goal is to stimulate durable development through use of renewable energies and irrigation in a semi-desertic environment severely damaged by mining industry. The Puna region stands high in the Andes, 13.000 feets above sea level. The conditions of living can be compared with Tibet and drinking water is highly contaminated with Arsenic ...
This very black picture was recently worsened by the discovery of some of the world's most important reserves of Lithium buried inside the salt lakes of their ancient and holy land of which they have been legal guardians for millenia.
