In 360 B.C., in his book "The Republic", the greek Plato argued for music as a vital pillar of human education. I believe that, two thousand years later, we cannot take this step back and move backwards instead of choosing intelligent solutions for a financial crisis.

Being a musician myself, and an European citizen, I believe that culture is a crucial part of our lives. I want to be part of a society that recognizes its priorities without freely discriminating the artistic communities.

Please, remember that a developed society - that is considered a 1st world country - provides for its citizens without confining them to their basic and primitive needs.

Shutting down the National Orchestras and Choir is a cultural, educational, social, historical and ethical mistake that should stop right now.

Here it is the link to the Greek National ERT Orchestra and Choir last emotional concert:

Be aware that this matter is of importance to us all and not only Greece. We are citizens of the world.
