Changing water levels can have significant effect on the lives of even more than the 25 million people who live and work and vacation in the upper Great Lakes region. For over ten years the water levels on Georgian Bay, Lakes Huron and Michigan have been experiencing exceptional low levels with many adverse effects on mankind and nature alike. The IJC has spent much time and money studying the problem and have arbitrarily decided to recommend that nothing be done to control the flow of water thru the St Clair river to help relieve the probelm.
I have lived Honey Harbour on Georgian Bay for 83 years and have experienced many 'cycles' of water levels but the current low is different and may very well be 'manmade' by allowing the increast flow down the St Clair river.
