International Charter of Future Media
We, the citizens of Earth,
who observe modern culture media preaching hatred and separation, distorting reality, popularizing such questionable values as consumerism, nihilism, competition, indifference, and war, while diminishing human capacities for positive changes, creative collaboration, and the evolution of consciousness, we notice with clear eyes and open hearts, how modern media distracts citizens with sensationalism while lobbying the interests of its owners, interfering with the sacred and inviolable spheres of life, and neglecting mastership and professionalism for the sake of short term personal benefits,
We, the citizens of Earth,
who stand in the clarity that each person has the right to a happy and prosperous future on a delightful garden planet, who aspire to transform and improve the quality of life in the world for every sentient being, who are willing to work for it
with our own activities and intent,
we hereby step together into the next media culture; voluntarily and consciously affirming our commitment by signing this International Charter of Future Media.
Future Media are individuals and teams who:
1) circulate and encourage values of love, respect, mutual understanding, acceptance, dialogue, diversity, personal responsibility, personal development and increased awareness;
2) are guided by the interests of Earth, long-term ecological sustainability, local resilience, cultural diversity, social justice, all the while bearing moral integrity in their own words and actions;
3) reliably stand for the value of human life and consciousness;
4) promote awareness in its multiple dimensions, and help to rethink the manner, expression and purpose of human existence;
5) deliver accurate, useful, inspiring and entertaining information in a holistic and systematic manner, taking into account the complexity of the relationships among humanity, nature, diverse human and animal cultures, the Earth and the Universe;
6) explore and popularize new forms of thinking that are necessary for human development on Earth in the Twenty-first Century;
7) transform and upgrade obsolete belief systems, worldviews, survival strategies, mindsets, comfort-zones, habits of perception, customs, laws, old decisions, attitudes, and skills in social relating, guided by the values mentioned above;
8) show real examples of positive change and progress at the local and global levels, and inspire individuals and groups to create new positive-future developments;
9) embody ongoing adulthood initiatory experience to build the personal energetic matrix to hold more consciousness, which manifests as natural responsibility from having clarity about the consequences of every action and non-action;
10) start with a word, and proceed with the act – by gathering groups of like-minded people or synergizing with the existing teams who are implementing socially important projects;
11) heal collective consciousness by means of creating and circulating media messages aimed at adulthood awareness;
12) strive for excellence and professionalism in every inception.
