Stop use of toxic herbicide glyphosate by Southern Railway of Vancouver Island

Glyphosate is toxic not only to the plants in which the Railway wishes to control, but also to a wide array of wildlife, delicate and endangered ecosystems and residential communities/populations. Southern Railway of Vancouver Island uses this toxic herbicide on it's rail lines extremely close to protected and endangered Garry Oak ecosystems and even on the fields of Elementary schools that are close to the tracks. Non-toxic plant control methods must be used in place of glyphosate or plant control must be halted altogether due to high risks.
