Statistics in South Africa have shown that for the past 5 years, over 15 000 people have died annually because of violent crime in South Africa, while tens of thousands of people are traumatized survivors of this scourge.
Countries at war seldom have a death toll of 15 000 people every year.
To make matters worse, the police force who are meant to protect law abiding citizens is full of corrupt and brutal police men and women.
