Anyone looking at Australia in 2014 might be forgiven for thinking that the Murdoch media conglomerate was our true government whilst our elected officials are nothing more than a shadow backbench, there to approve what the media hands down. The Murdoch media in particular, and many other media outlets in general, are running a calculated and coordinated campaign to misrepresent and vilify people who are making informed health choices.
Individuals have the right to say what will and will not be put into their own bodies and into the bodies of their children. This right is inalienable and no government has the power to remove or abridge that right.
Please Minister Dutton, do not do the bidding of the media. You are in your position as Minister for Health to represent the people of Australia and to protect our rights. Parents who choose not to vaccinate deserve the same rights and respect as those who do. Do not penalise, vilify or discriminate against us and do not cooperate with those who do.
