I am a Nutritionist, Biologist and a mother who has a genuine concern for humanity and the importance of balancing health with environmental issues. My goal is to contribute to the intellectual and scientific dialogue in order to educate our global family on issues pertaining to health. As a mother, my cost has been high, losing my precious 19 year old daughter, Nkonyezi, in 2012. Her illness was caused by external events, specifically food infused w/ antibiotics and other adulterations not labeled, provoking serious inflammatory responses. She became ill with MRSA at age 11, which compromised her immune system for life. Later she developed an autoimmune disorder. She was an amazing photographer, filmmaker, writer, poet, human rights activist and humanitarian, feeding homeless, and adopting nursing homes. Her photography can be viewed online. A young lady in her prime "gone way too soon," due to the "Franken-food" mentality allowed to “loop out of control.” Not one more life should the “Monsantos” of the world be allowed to take! Not one more destiny should we allow them to control, without a contest!

We have the power to take back our food. The objective will of our politicians to protect our food supply has been intercepted by “corporate money.” However, Whole Foods owe a debt to its customers, to play a Leading role in safe foods, paving the way for other grocers. This is a small request that could hurl America into the 21st century, joining the EU, Kenya and other Asian nations, who have the basic right to know. There is always the option to vote with our wallets.
