This is important because:
Israel demonstrates the behaviour of an apartheid regime with severe discrimination against Palestinians living in the illegally occupied West bank and in Israel itself. This violates International Law.
The separation barrier, house demolitions, settlements on occupied land and checkpoints all violate the human rights of the Palestinians.
FIFA, UEFA and the FA all proclaim to uphold their own 'Kick It Out' campaign and 'Respect' campaign. Israel does not fulfil the requirements of these campaigns. The footballing associations hypocrisy is obvious.
Israel is not in Europe and this is a European competition.
Israel's actions are worse than South Africa pre 1994, yet South Africa was boycotted by international Sport.
Israel's behaviour towards the Palestinians can be considered to be ethnic cleansing.

The solution: To highlight to the world the inequities of Israel's behaviour. To stop demolitions and destruction of Palestinian land and buildings. To stop building settlements on occupied territory. To treat Palestinians with equal respect, dignity and without prejudice or discrimination.

Two young Palestinian footballers were shot by Israeli soldiers as they were walking home from a training session in the central West Bank on January 31 and are unlikely to play again.
