The BC Medical Cannabis Partners is a
group of volunteer patients and patient caregivers who are urging our provincial
government to strike a committee to develop parameters for a provincial pilot
project. The goal is the creation of medical cannabis agricultural industry - personal and commercial; production of cannabis into various forms (of ingestibles and topicals);
and an access program that puts the needs of patients first. We are the BC chapter of the newly formed Canadian Medical Cannabis Partners currently represented in 6 provinces. We want to keep federal legalization of cannabis for medical use across the country while allowing the provinces to administer the programs for their citizens.
A program that provides dignified, affordable, local, access to cannabis for medical purposes while accommodating the needs of government A program that must include the ability of the patient to grow their specific strain(s) of cannabis should the patient choose to do so.We have a written provincial proposal that can be used as a template for any province.
