They're blocking kids with cancer from getting help
The latest outrage of the Republican government shutdown is that cancer-stricken children are unable to access clinical trials because of closures at the National Institutes of Health.  Enough is enough! 

Thankfully, Americans are seeing through all the spin and properly blaming Republicans in Congress for their reckless behavior.  Already, at least 20 House Republicans have broken with the Tea Party and said they support reopening the government over waging ideological battles -- and that number is growing by the day.  If House Speaker John Boehner simply allowed a vote, the government would reopen right now.  We just need a few more Republicans to cave to public pressure and he'll have to do that.

  So let's send a massive message right now to the few moderate Republicans that are left to open the government right now.  If we succeed, we could sideline the irresponsible Tea Party for good.  But more importantly, we'll help reopen the doors for those children desperate for the treatment they need.  Sign and share now.
