Release Rurouni Kenshin Live Action In Indonesian Theaters

Seperti yang telah kita ketahui bersama bahwa manga Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) karya Nobuhiro Watsuki telah dirilis versi live actionnya padatanggal 25 Agustus 2012 lalu. Film yang diproduksi oleh Warner Bros ini disutradarai oleh Keishi Otomo serta dibintangi Takeru Satoh sebagai Himura Kenshin dan Emi Takei sebagai Kaoru Kamiya.
Selain di Jepang, film ini juga telah dirilis di berbagai negara, diantaranya:

Dari sekian banyak negara yang merilis live action Rurouni Kenshin, Indonesia tidak masuk ke dalam daftar tersebut. Sungguh disayangkan padahal para pencinta anime khususnya Rurouni Kenshin telah menunggu film ini sejak dari pertama kali diumumkan pada tahun 2011. Akhirnya dengan menelan kekecewaan penggemar Rurouni Kenshin hanya bisa menunggu rilisnya dvd untuk bisa menikmati salah satu film tersukses di Jepang tahun 2012. Meskipun pada akhirnya dvd tersebut juga tidak rilis di Indonesia.
Kini dua sekuel dari Rurouni Kenshin live action akan kembali mengguncang bioskop Jepang! Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc tanggal 1 Agustus 2014 dan Rurouni Kenshin: The Last of Legend Arc pada tanggal 13 September 2014.
Inti cerita dari sekuel film ini berpusat pada perjuangan Kenshin Melawan Shishio (diperankan oleh Tatsuya Fujiwara) dan Juppongatana yang merencanakan untuk menguasai jepang dengan menghancurkan pemerintahan Meiji yang diawali dari kota Kyoto. Sekuel ini dipastikan merupakan klimax dari petualangan Kenshin dan akan menjadi pertarungan yang sengit mengingat seluruh jagoan dari serial ini akan berkumpul untuk melawan rencana Shishio membumihanguskan Kyoto.

As we know, Rurouni Kenshin ( Samurai X ) manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki had been released as a live action version on last 25th August 2012. This movie that was produced by Warner Bros had Keishi Otomo as the director and also starred Takeru Satoh as Himura Kenshin and Emi Takei as Kaoru Kamiya.

Indonesia wasn’t in the list of so many countries that released the live action of Rurouni Kenshin. It was unfortunate for the anime lovers, especially Rurouni Kenshin fans. Since they were already waiting for the movie from the first announcement on 2011. At the end, Rurouni Kenshin fans could only swallowed their disappointment while waiting for the DVD to be released, so they can enjoy one of the most successful movies in Japan on 2012. Although at the very end, the DVD wasn’t released in Indonesia too.
Now, 2 live action sequels of Rurouni Kenshin will be back to rock the cinemas in Japan! Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc that will be release on 1st August 2014 and Rurouni Kenshin: The Last of Legend Arc on 13th September 2014.
The main storyline of this movie sequel is centering on Kenshin’s struggle in fighting Shishio ( Tatsuya Fujiwara ) and Juppongatana who plan to rule Japan by destroying Meiji government, starting from Kyoto. This sequel is the climax of Kenshin’s adventure and will be a fierce battle since all the heroes from this serial will gather to fight Shishio’s plan on destroying Kyoto.
