* DST is no longer an effective energy saving method; evidence now suggests it wastes energy; DST is one more distraction from real energy solutions that are needed
* The Monday following every springtime adjustment has more car accidents than on any other day of the year; the Sunday following every springtime adjustment results in a spike in heart attacks
* It disrupts sleep patterns, particularly for young children and their parents
* Generally, it creates disruption and annoyance far beyond its worth
* This petition may have broad popular appeal, and will help to introduce AVAAZ (and the far more important issues presented here) to new audiences.
