Subject: Call of Relief to areas affected by the Floods and Rain in Sudan.

we appeal to you and all organizations and activists in the field of humanitarian work

We urge you to adopt and take immediate measures to save thousands of Sudanese families in… dire and tragic situation, this is an unfolding tragic catastrophe according to preliminary estimates that have been published. We raise this appeal on the basis of our firm desire to stand by the victims and from our responsibility as activists and civil society organizations working to support victims in the affected areas. We expect your immediate response to this appeal

The evident is clear, that the situation is getting worse in the absence of the necessary assistance with the increasing number of deaths on a daily basis.

The authorities are reluctant to announce the disaster-stricken areas - as national disaster as requested - to get in emergency aid from international organizations, we believe that the disaster has become a serious threat to thousands of Sudanese families, it is a call to the international community and its organizations to take its responsibility, and in such circumstances, we ask the United Nations and in accordance with responsibility of the Declaration of the disaster in the affected areas and formally demand from the Sudanese authorities to allow humanitarian organizations to provide international and regional assistance required and medical treatment and assistance for those affected.

This is a humanitarian and solidarity appeal, to request emergency relief for areas that face grave situations in Sudan; because of the floods which have caused massive destruction of homes and led to the displacement of thousands of people who are homeless; there is no official number of total casualties or missing, and that the magnitude of the disaster is greater than the capacity of civil society organizations to tackle; immediate help and rescue are required, bearing in mind more storms are in the forecast;
