No GMO potatoes in Ireland!

No GMO potatoes in Ireland!

Why this is important

The Environmental Protection Agency has given " An Teagasc" the go ahead to test run genetically modified potatoes in County Carlow, Ireland. You CAN NOT "TEST" GMO CROPS!
Once GMO crops have been planted, that is it, they are in the ground and the seed is in the air, spreading to neighbouring fields and countryside.
Ireland's island location is a double edged sword regarding GMO. The edge facing us will cut deep once it is pushed against us... On the the other side, our remote location offers us the opportunity to develop an Island wide GMO free/organic export market that can not only benefit our Economy, but more importantly our Ecology. Thank you.
