This petition is to oppose the planned development on about 100 hectares of the Rietvlei Nature Reserve which falls under the City of Tshwane municipality.
Not only is the site within the boundries of a proclaimed Nature Reserve, but it also is the breading ground of the giant bull frog, contains a wetland and is a grass land, it also contains one of the in flowing streams into the Rietvlei dam, which provides 25 % of the daily water needs of the City.
