United State Of America : Support Free Palestine
We, the undersigned, condemn the repeated and shameful position of the United States of America towards the Palestinian conflict. The US continues to obstruct the efforts towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on its rightful territory currently occupied by the Zionist state. While the US claims to broker the peace process between the two aforementioned parties, it blatantly, unfairly and unconditionally supports the Zionist state and sees no harm in hindering the Palestinian draft resolution calling for independence of Palestine by 2017 according to the latest UN Security Council session on December 30 2014.
Meanwhile, the United States of America completely overlooks and tolerates the repeated violations by the Zionist state of agreements reached under its sponsorship; for instance, the incursion into the Areas (A) (B) and (C) of the Occupied Palestinian Territories, the non-implementation of the agreed-upon redeployment plans, ongoing incarceration of Palestinian prisoners of war, the continuation of settlement expansion, the solidification of apartheid, and the Judaization of Jerusalem the capital of Palestine before the entire world.
We welcome the steps taken by the Palestinian Authorities towards the independence of Palestine despite the unjust and repeated abuse of veto power by the US regarding this matter before the UN Security Council. In taking these actions, the United States of America essentially violates the right of Palestinian people to hold a nationality pursuant to article 15 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the right of the Palestinian nation to self-determination pursuant to article 2(1) of the Charter of the United Nations.
We support the Palestinian Authorities’ request for membership in 20 international institutions and we urge the international community and the civil society around the world to support the right of the Palestinian people to freedom and self-determination no matter how much time, effort and patience required, and despite the media war launched and maintained by the Zionist state against Palestine.
